Requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (mix of public accounting and industry preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 842
  • Proficiency with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems, and strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, modeling)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification (active or in progress)
  • Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or technology environment

Responsibilities

  • Cash Reconciliation: Monitor daily bank activity and reconcile against recorded transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Revenue and AR: Coordinate billing, collections, and reporting to ensure timely and accurate order management and revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
  • Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset subledger to ensure accurate asset capitalization, classification, depreciation, and disposals
  • Leases: Assist in preparing new lease schedules and maintain monthly lease entries in compliance with ASC 842
  • Month-End Close: Lead month-end activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and review of general ledger accounts for accuracy and appropriate classification
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages
  • Technical Accounting: Research relevant guidance in the FASB codification and draft technical accounting memos to support compliance and documentation
  • Coordination with Third Parties: Serve as the liaison with external auditors, tax preparers, and other professional service providers; prepare PBCs and manage communications
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file sales/use tax and property tax returns; support preparation of annual tax filings and related schedules
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Contribute to process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and development of new reports and workpapers to strengthen the control environment and efficiency
