Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Minimum 4+ years of experience as a General Ledger (Staff/Sr) Accountant, preferably in Manufacturing/Distribution
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
Experience booking journal entries
Financial statement review and analysis
Experience with SAGE or similar ERP systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

Routine Balance Sheet and Income Statement analyses
Preparation of financial statements
Routine daily transactions involving accounts payable, cash disbursements, and inventory
Reconciliations between General Ledger and subledger
Participation in forecasting and budgeting processes
Journal entry compilation and input
Assessment and maintenance of internal controls
Contribution to the annual audit process
Development of processes and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency
Participation in physical inventory counts
