Requirements

  • Experience with Python programming and best practices, including object-oriented programming principles, version control, data structures, unit testing
  • Experience writing SQL queries for large datasets
  • Statistical analysis and design of experiments
  • Understanding of cleanroom fabrication equipment and processes
  • Semiconductor device physics
  • Reporting and documentation of test results with emphasis on statistical analysis, data visualization, trending (experience generating data dashboards a plus)
  • Python instrument control (desired)
  • SQL table design (desired)
  • Failure analysis, including materials characterization techniques (desired)
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, applied physics, or related field; or Master’s degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering field
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop database infrastructure to store data from electrical measurements collected at various cryogenic temperatures, inline fabrication metrology, and device designs
  • Develop software to relate device yield to fabrication processes and designs
  • Use databases to extract critical information and perform statistical data analysis
  • Frequent technical communication with team members, including oral and written reporting
