Requirements

Experience with Python programming and best practices, including object-oriented programming principles, version control, data structures, unit testing
Experience writing SQL queries for large datasets
Statistical analysis and design of experiments
Understanding of cleanroom fabrication equipment and processes
Semiconductor device physics
Reporting and documentation of test results with emphasis on statistical analysis, data visualization, trending (experience generating data dashboards a plus)
Python instrument control (desired)
SQL table design (desired)
Failure analysis, including materials characterization techniques (desired)
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, applied physics, or related field; or Master’s degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering field

Responsibilities

Develop database infrastructure to store data from electrical measurements collected at various cryogenic temperatures, inline fabrication metrology, and device designs
Develop software to relate device yield to fabrication processes and designs
Use databases to extract critical information and perform statistical data analysis
Frequent technical communication with team members, including oral and written reporting
