Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of tailoring experience in a retail or customer-service environment
Strong working knowledge of garment construction in men's and women's apparel
Ability to perform high-quality workmanship including hand and by machine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter
Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently with strong time organization
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced office environment (30-35 weekly hours)
Successfully pass background and credit check

Responsibilities

Perform alterations on men's and women's suits, shirts, coats, blazers, dresses, and trousers, including but not limited to: shorten/lengthen sleeves, taper sides of garments, lower collars, take in/out trousers waist, take in/out seat and rise on pants, shorten/lengthen trousers, taper trouser thighs and foot widths
Ensure proper sizing of clients
Manage all interactions with professionalism
Track detailed alteration production daily
Perform alterations on all garments submitted, press finished garments, remove threads, and complete for client-ready
Complete all work promptly to ensure customer delivery dates
Maintain a clean work environment
Maintain all required paperwork related to daily assignments
Adhere to all policies as outlined in the Office Support Manual and company practices and procedures
