Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Proofpoint’s email security managed services and best practices
  • Respond to customer requests for rule changes, feature additions, policy updates, and routing configurations
  • Deliver briefings on new product versions, features, and functionality
  • Review, enable, and configure new product features and enhancements
  • Collaborate with Threat Strategy Managers to onboard new customers from the Professional Services team, including defining and owning onboarding acceptance criteria
  • Handle customer escalations and monitor case progress to ensure accuracy and timely completion within SLO guidelines
  • Participate in and manage the team’s on-call rotation, including after-hours and weekend support
  • Provide operational metrics and optimization recommendations to MTPS management
  • Work alongside seniors to design, build, and maintain applications and tools
  • Write and review new code as well as find and fix bugs in existing code
  • Continuously learn new programming languages, tools, and technologies, and gain a deeper understanding of our various codebases and architectures
  • Help diagnose and resolve technical problems, user-reported issues and vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with other teams to find and develop new opportunities for value creation and efficiency gains within managed services
