Position Overview

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on security operations experience in modern cloud environments.
  • SIEM Tooling: Hands-on experience with SIEM tooling and centralized logging (e.g., Panther, ELK, Splunk).

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with application development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Threat Modeling: Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Telemetry: Establish telemetry data across Kandji’s cloud environment, platforms, and technologies.
  • Deployment & Optimization: Deploy and optimize detection and response technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR).
  • Threat Detection & Response: Detect and respond to cyber threats and incidents using tools such as a SIEM, IDS, EDR, Firewalls, and modern cloud platforms.
  • Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts to investigate and mitigate security breaches.
  • Threat Hunting: Conduct ad-hoc threat hunts in support of SecOps, detection, automations, or tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across functional teams (Product, Engineering, IT) to understand and protect all aspects of Kandji’s cyber footprint.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior members of the security team and provide guidance on complex security issues.

Additional Information

  • On-Call Rotations: Approximately every 3rd week.
  • Work Schedule: Requires working on-site 5 days a week in the Miami office (Coral Gables).
