Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Security, with 6-8 years of proven expertise in IoT, embedded devices, hardware medical instruments, and automotive/connected car security. A strong background in security testing methodologies and risk assessment is required, along with hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies. Fifteen years of full-time education is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Security Engineer will apply security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people, while safeguarding information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. This includes conducting thorough security assessments of IoT devices, embedded systems, hardware components, medical instruments, and connected car systems. Responsibilities also involve identifying vulnerabilities, performing penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews, evaluating security risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security controls. The role requires staying current with emerging security threats, implementing best practices, documenting processes and findings, and generating comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
