The Security Engineer will act as a hands-on contributor, validating security controls, participating in threat modeling, and integrating security practices into technology projects. Responsibilities include consulting on security control design, supporting effectiveness assessments during system development and testing, and contributing scripts, automation, or analysis tooling to support operations and consulting. The role involves contributing to secure design reviews, providing recommendations to strengthen architecture security, and partnering with developers and infrastructure teams to embed security early in design and development. Additionally, the engineer will assist in preparing security documentation, standards, and knowledge-sharing materials, and collaborate with senior engineers to learn and apply security frameworks, tools, and best practices.
