Responsibilities

Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable, educational savory cooking experiences to inspire repeat visits and loyalty
Deliver exceptional in-store savory cooking classes following provided recipes and game plans for consistency and quality
Drive sales through kitchen standards, customer engagement, promoting retail items, second class sign-ups, and meeting revenue goals/KPIs (enrollment, reviews, return rates, product sales)
Assist with class setup/breakdown, including mise en place, ingredient prep, cleaning workstations, sanitizing dishes/equipment
Restock, organize, and maintain kitchen supplies/tools for store readiness
Ensure compliance with food safety, handle tools/ingredients/equipment safely, maintain inventory, minimize shrink, control expenses
Handle liquor/wine/beer per regulations and policies
Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and address maintenance needs
