Software Developer in Test - Business Support Systems

Position Overview

As a Vonage Software Developer in Test, you will specialize in testing infrastructure and business logic for Business Support Systems. We seek a self-motivated individual to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse technology environment. As part of an Agile team, your responsibilities include automated test case creation, planning, debugging, and execution. In this role, you'll develop automated tools and tests to streamline software development and elevate product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with developers and QA team members to create test cases, design test plans, and automate test cases for the verification of product functionality.
  • Develop and implement the Test Automation strategy/effort.
  • Testing Salesforce business flows and end-to-end testing responsibilities.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging root cause analysis of automation failures.
  • Working closely with developers, Product Owners & Scrum Masters to review product requirements and design.
  • Facilitate the tracking of Bugs and Enhancements (via JIRA and applicable tools).
  • Test lead and quote generation utilizing Salesforce UI automation.

Requirements

Our Tech Stack is broad, and can vary from API to API, therefore we are looking to speak with Engineers with 3+ years of experience across a number of the following areas (by no means do we expect you to have experience with all!):

  • 3+ years of test automation experience with strong development/scripting skills (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Python, Java, etc.).
  • Experience testing Salesforce applications.
  • Multi-tier and distributed architecture testing experience, preferably with RESTful Web Services and J2EE applications.
  • API security and vulnerability testing knowledge.
  • Experience in developing and running a Continuous Integration system.
  • Self-learner, self-motivated, and highly independent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
