Requirements

  • Masters with 0-4 years experience or PhD (submitted within the last one year) in life sciences (molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry)
  • Thorough knowledge of immunology and flow cytometry workflows
  • Experience in cell sorting (added advantage)
  • Working knowledge and experience in molecular biology workflows: high-throughput molecular cloning, plasmid vector construction, PCRs, restriction digestion, ligation, transformation, mini and maxi preps, sequencing
  • Ability to provide technical troubleshooting to resolve scientific problems
  • Proficiency in software/platforms for flow cytometry and data analysis: FlowJo, FCSExpress, MS Office, GraphPad Prism
  • Theoretical or practical experience in antibody development platforms (desirable)
  • Project or work experience supporting relevant skills (e.g., publications, project reports, thesis)
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, excellent at learning/applying new concepts for improvements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent teammate able to work with diverse colleagues
