Requirements

  • Ability to lead medium to large-scale implementation projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
  • Experience performing site investigations to develop SCADA system architecture options, upgrade paths, and cost estimates
  • Capability to work independently on small projects or lead teams on larger projects
  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 80% (typically driving distance in New England: MA, RI, CT), with occasional overnight travel

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Collaborate with municipal clients on water, wastewater, remediation, and industrial automation/control systems projects
  • Conduct site investigations to gather information on client systems, equipment, and instruments for SCADA architecture and upgrade options
  • Support project managers in writing technical content for proposals and client communications
  • Develop process logic for PLCs to monitor and control water/wastewater treatment systems
  • Design graphical HMI screens representing process equipment and instrumentation
  • Perform design reviews and implement process control systems, PLC/HMI upgrades, and optimizations
  • Assist in developing SCADA master plans for technology improvements
  • Provide support for client SCADA systems and coordinate technical oversight of subcontractors/vendors
  • Mentor and train junior staff
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key clients, serve as trusted advisor, and identify future opportunities
  • Lead SCADA project startups, preconstruction, and kickoff meetings at job sites
