Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Travel up to 50%
  • 5 years of SAP FICO experience with a detailed understanding and experience with financial closing and consolidation
  • Strong accounting/finance background
  • Experience in the project lifecycle from requirements gathering, solution design, realization, testing, go-live preparation, and execution, as well as hyper-care
  • Proficient in the business processes associated with financial operations, which includes expertise in general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management, cost center accounting, and profit center accounting
  • Hands-on SAP Analysis for Office experience
  • Hands-on S/4HANA experience, including use case of standard Fiori applications
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual design thinking skills
  • Fluent in SAP Financials modules (FI/CO) with an eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Sound understanding of financial close, consolidation process, and reporting (Preferred: CPA; Strong knowledge and experience of financial closing and consolidation processes; Basic knowledge of Group Reporting)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business consultant to help customers achieve their objectives by being an excellent communicator who understands the importance of communication in a consultant's role
  • Problem solve with an extraordinary technical and functional understanding of Accounting Principles along with SAP products
  • Support end users from a functional and/or technical perspective and work closely with end users and business partners to analyze and review their business requirements or processes
  • Troubleshoot and configure SAP FICO including integration points with other modules and cross functional design/build of other modules. Working on multiple projects as a project team member or team lead
  • Lead fit/gap and other types of working sessions to understand needs driven by business process requirements. Translate requirements into solutions, using SAP Best Practices
  • Prepare clear and concise documentation, as well as provide timely status updates
  • Proactively identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues. Assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior management
  • Provide knowledge transfer to clients and fellow consultants, in formal and ad hoc settings
