Responsibilities
Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures
Maintain a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others
Clean floors, lights, walls, windows, ceilings, restrooms, breakroom, coolers, wash rack, equipment (e.g., mixer, oven, hand truck) in various areas of the bakery
Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment
Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas
Clean and sanitize lines of equipment and environment pre- and post-production using food-safe sanitation practices
Report all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager as soon as possible
Understand and comply with all safety procedures that apply to daily operations
Work safely and follow proper lock out/tag out procedures where applicable
Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, coworkers, etc
Adhere to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
