General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g., GED)
Fluency (reading and writing) in English; fluent in Spanish preferred
2+ years of experience working in the food, safety, or sanitation industry
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Assign tasks to Sanitation & Janitorial team to complete required tasks
Verify equipment and/or chemicals are being used appropriately
Observe for unsanitary practices and conditions to make necessary improvements
Monitor sanitation team for usage of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Demonstrate mastery of all core Sanitation & Janitorial Associate responsibilities
Accurately document master sanitation activity completion for the shift in the appropriate application
Serve as point of contact for all Home Chef Sanitation Tools & Applications; train Sanitation & Janitorial Associates on access and usage
Deliver training, retraining, and coaching in real time to Sanitation & Janitorial Associates, including safety policies
Promptly notify Sanitation Supervisor, Sanitation Superintendent, and/or FSQA Leadership when sanitation issues arise
Maintain working knowledge of chemical inventory levels and escalate when low
Follow facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility
Support company efforts to maintain food safety system (SQF) and quality programs
Follow all company policies and procedures, including safe chemical handling and lock out, tag out (LOTO)
Arrive to work at scheduled time and follow time off request procedure
Communicate with co-workers in a professional manner
Treat co-workers with respect at all times
Escalate attitude issues among Sanitation & Janitorial Associates to Supervisor and/or Sanitation Superintendent
