Position Overview

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking talented engineers to join its sandbox team. We are reimagining our public-facing website, hybrid-analysis.com, a crucial platform for thousands of researchers, malware analysts, students, and concerned individuals who rely on it for investigating potentially harmful documents and programs. While the current PHP-based site serves its purpose, we are ready to introduce new features and workflows to further enhance our mission of stopping breaches.

Our new technology stack is Vue.js. However, if you have experience with frameworks like React or Angular, we encourage you to apply, as we will provide support to get you up to speed. We aim to push the boundaries of web platform capabilities and deliver a rich, intuitive user interface for malware analysis. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our community and see your work directly contribute to hunting hackers and protecting systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, users, and testers to deliver quality software that solves problems.
• Develop and implement new features and workflows for hybrid-analysis.com using Vue.js.
• Push the boundaries of web platform capabilities.
• Provide a rich, intuitive user interface for malware hunting.
• See your applications and visualizations used daily by the cybersecurity community.

Requirements

• A desire to collaborate closely with stakeholders, users, and testers to deliver quality software that solves problems.
• A deep understanding of Javascript and considerable experience building thick-client applications, preferably with Vue.js.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap or Materialize.
• Experience with unit testing (e.g., Vue test utils/Jest/Vitest, component testing, end-to-end testing with Selenium/Playwright/WebdriverIO).
• Functional knowledge and interest in developing accessible interfaces.
• Strong HTML & CSS skills, with a passion for page design and UI user interaction.
• Knowledge of scalable/modular CSS approaches and preprocessors like SCSS & LESS.
• Familiarity with client-side build processes & tools (e.g., Webpack, Grunt, Gulp).
• Comfortable with Git/version control workflows.
• Sensitivity to user needs and a passion for learning about tools.
• Enthusiasm for new features in browser developer tools and testing work in screen readers.

Bonus Points

• Relentless passion for improving page load times.
• Experience creating or contributing to open-source projects.
• Experience with graphics & visualization.
