Requirements

Professional experience with Vue.js (2.x), Apollo Client, and VueApollo
Professional experience with building fullstack webapps with GraphQL
Experience with writing automated tests with Jest
A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS and core JavaScript concepts
A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, and clear status updates
Some experience with backend technologies, especially Ruby on Rails is a plus

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Product and Design counterparts to finalize the requirements and break down projects into smaller iterations. Then work with other engineers to plan and execute the work
Work with engineers across Plan Stage
Iterate and ship value to customers quickly. Create Proof of Concepts for more complex work. Ensure quality by writing extensive tests, and rolling out changes behind feature flags
Craft code that meets our standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment
Support other frontend engineers and advocate for quality during code-reviews
Participate in the Quality Rotation
Nurture our open-source community by selecting and preparing issues for contributors, helping to organize hackathons, and reviewing contributions
Suggest and execute process improvements in monthly retrospectives
