Requirements

  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 25lbs
  • Must be certified on a lift truck to include Fork and Pole lifts
  • Prior experience with AS400 is a plus
  • Must have Lift Truck experience
  • Strong clerical background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft, AS400/CAM
  • Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
  • Must excel working independently and able to collaborate in a team environment
  • Must be willing to work in different areas and fill voids as needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage shipments of all materials, products, and sample supplies
  • Obtain and process sample requests, including pulling samples, packaging, creating shipping labels, and communicating tracking information if needed
  • Maintain inventory levels and communicate information with Samples Manager
  • Utilize FedEx shipping system
  • Verify label/style information is correct
  • Trained in loading and unloading trailers
  • Trained in packaging rugs and loading rugs table to ensure smooth operations
  • Trained and certified in Serging & Binding rugs, along with learning to process hidden edge
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor
  • Provide service and supporting both Samples and Rugs department by filling in and providing back up support where needed
  • Requires training and certification in various roles within these two areas
