The candidate must have experience with Salesforce, project management, and Agile frameworks. They should possess strong decision-making and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate past decisions for improved processes and use effective decision-making approaches. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating both empathy and assertiveness, are required, along with the ability to communicate effectively downward, upward, and outward. Experience in software change request management, including defining responses for non-standard requests and contributing to process flow design, is necessary. Proficiency in software problem management is also a requirement.
The Salesforce Product Owner will work with business groups to understand demand and strategy, collaborating to develop short-term and long-term roadmaps. They will lead a Salesforce standardization initiative, optimizing value and translating it into business outcomes. This role involves owning reporting and analytics on product work, establishing and maintaining metrics to measure performance and business outcomes, and creating and sustaining relationships with other organizations. Responsibilities include facilitating working sessions and steering committees, communicating directly with senior leaders, gathering requirements from stakeholders, acting as the voice of the team, and conveying product vision to the development team. The Product Owner will define epics, themes, and features into user stories, create and prioritize the product backlog, report on product work and metrics, hand off development-ready stories, provide input on release dates and content, and participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, reveals, and retrospectives. They will also partner with the business to ensure end-user acceptance testing and monitor initiatives post-launch for benefit realization.
