The role requires independent travel throughout the assigned Dallas, TX territory, up to 25%, with reliable transportation needed to visit accounts and attend sales training and meetings.
Required qualifications include a High School diploma with 5+ years of applicable sales experience, in-depth knowledge of DON’s products and services, intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), strong analytical, organizational, communication, time management, and customer service skills, plus the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred qualifications include a 4-year degree in culinary arts or business with at least 2 years in B2B foodservice sales, 2+ years prior food service and/or sales background, and knowledge or experience with SAP.
Essential duties include independent travel to solicit orders, demonstrating products, quoting prices, handling collections, participating in pre-pack check-ins (lifting up to 50 lbs), analyzing marketing data, monitoring competitors, and acting as a consultant to customers.
