Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, business operations, or a similar role, preferably within the software or scientific industry
  • Expertise in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and a strong understanding of sales enablement tools
  • Advanced analytical skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • At least three years of experience with an English-speaking company
  • Experienced sales operations professional with an interest in the life and materials science spaces
  • Proactive and resourceful problem-solver with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Great team player who enjoys collaborating with global teams including Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Sales
  • Ability to mentor and manage fellow Sales Operations members, supporting their professional development

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Japan Sales Enablement team in designing and improving sales processes, workflows, and best practices
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve overall sales team performance
  • Develop and maintain key sales metrics and dashboards that provide insights on sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting to management
  • Analyze sales data to deliver meaningful and actionable insights
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams to optimize lead generation and conversion process
  • Manage the Japan Sales tech stack, ensuring access and adoption in key sales enablement tools
  • Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for the sales team
  • Create and optimize Salesforce reports and dashboards while driving adoption and best practices across the sales organization
  • Review contract documents and liaise with the Schrödinger Legal team to finalize agreements with customers
  • Create and maintain sales enablement content including collateral, training materials, and documentation in both Japanese and English
