Requirements

Strong background in Rust programming
Experience with system design and infrastructure (understanding of cloud environments, some knowledge of k8s)
Experience with PostgreSQL (advantage)
Basics of Distributed Systems: Understanding of fundamental distributed systems concepts
Strong understanding of Rust fundamentals, programming model, and concurrency
Ability to independently tackle medium to complex initiatives
Experience with Git and version control practices
Willingness to evolve and shape development tools/stack
Willingness to regularly talk to customers
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of Rust projects (pg_replicate, wrappers, pg_graphql, dbdev, pg_jsonschema)
Participate in the design and development of PostgreSQL extensions and package index
Build tools within the Supabase ecosystem
Interact with customers on a daily basis
Triage and fix GitHub issues
Refine existing features and develop new ones
Participate in the successful rollout of pl/rust
