Requirements
- Experience as a Journeyman or Foreman in commercial roofing
- Ability to install, repair, or replace four and/or single-ply commercial roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions
- Knowledge of various commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and PVC
- Skill in installing vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation on roof decks of flat roofs and sealing seams
- Proficiency in cutting roofing paper to size using knives and nailing or stapling it to roofs in overlapping strips
Responsibilities
- Install or replace a variety of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and PVC
- Install vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs and seal the seams
- Cut roofing paper to size using knives
