Requirements

Experience as a Journeyman or Foreman in commercial roofing
Ability to install, repair, or replace four and/or single-ply commercial roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions
Knowledge of various commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and PVC
Skill in installing vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation on roof decks of flat roofs and sealing seams
Proficiency in cutting roofing paper to size using knives and nailing or stapling it to roofs in overlapping strips

Responsibilities

Install or replace a variety of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and PVC
Install vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs and seal the seams
Cut roofing paper to size using knives
Nail or staple roofing paper to roofs in overlapping strips to form bases for other materials
