Requirements

Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience with manufacturing automation. Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are needed to work with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to solve technical problems effectively, efficiently, and independently is required. Demonstrated experience with 3D solid modeling and the development of 2D manufacturing drawings is essential. Basic programming knowledge in C++, Python, or similar languages is preferred, along with familiarity with industrial facilities and equipment. Applicants must comply with U.S. export control regulations.

Responsibilities

The Robotics Engineer will work with customers to understand their manufacturing processes before deploying the work cell. They will collaborate with mechanical and robotics engineers to design the work cell layout, considering robot reachability and cycle time. Necessary design modifications on robot end-of-arm tools and part fixtures will be made in coordination with mechanical engineers. The role includes designing, implementing, and deploying robotic cells and systems, setting up and testing work cells, and installing and maintaining control components. The engineer will also lead rigorous system testing practices, conduct proof of concepts for customers, create documentation and educational content, and work with product and engineering teams to enhance the customer experience.
