Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with a strong understanding of localization, perception, and navigation technologies. Proven experience with machine learning and its application in robotics is required, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++, or Rust. Experience with robotic frameworks like ROS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Robotics Generalist will analyze and troubleshoot issues in localization, perception, and navigation systems of the robots as it’s expanding to new markets/ODD’s and socialize the issues through technical deep dives. They will develop and implement quick fix mitigations to address immediate Autonomy problems in the field, prioritize and plan the development of new features, fine-tune machine learning models to adapt and perform optimally in new metropolitan areas, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the full stack development of robotics solutions, ensuring robustness and scalability.
