Requirements

Candidates must currently reside in the Netherlands and have demonstrated experience in risk management, ideally within a regulated Payment Service Provider, Fintech, or Financial services environment. Proven ability to independently design and manage risk control frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and navigate regulatory reporting requirements is essential. A strong understanding of core financial risks, both financial and non-financial, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Risk Officer will design and manage the end-to-end risk management framework and processes for the Dutch payments entity and wider payments organization. Responsibilities include identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks, conducting data-driven investigations, maintaining the company-wide risk register, advising the Board on risk appetite and strategy, overseeing outsourcing risk, preparing risk maps and reports, and supporting the implementation of remediation plans and supervisory recommendations.
