Requirements

10+ years of production experience at a 3D studio
In depth knowledge of all aspects of rigging
Expert sculpting ability for corrective blendshapes and/or facial shapes/phonemes
Experience in Linux environment including shell navigation and scripting
3-5 years of leadership experience at a feature 3D studio
Managing a large rigging team
Strong communication skills both with clients and other internal departments
Ability to provide a demo reel illustrating relevant artistic and technical experience, including nuances for this specific role

Responsibilities

Interface with production for all asset needs related to rigging and animation
Inform and deliberate on asset decisions with clients and other department heads
Manage the entire rigging team including the lead, if applicable
Participate in all production touchbases, rounds, and client reviews
Schedule and run internal rigging rounds as needed
Work closely with the head of animation to establish the animation style and language
Establish priorities and deadlines for all assets, including casting amongst the team
Bid all asset work for the show
