Candidates need deep expertise in radio and front-end design and validation in 400MHz to 70GHz ISM bands, encoding methods and modulation schemes such as OFDM, Frequency hopping, QAM, GFSK, UWB, convolution encoding, STBC, RF emission requirements and testing for FCC, ETSI, and debugging RF issues including TIS, TRP, BER, Return Loss, Desense, and radiation patterns.

The role includes owning RF performance across products for protocols like WiFi, BLE, Radar, SubG, Wi-SUN, LoRa; building RF testing capabilities; managing ODMs and labs; characterizing chipsets and antennas; reviewing PRDs; root causing issues; and collaborating with EE and ME teams.

A strong candidate is a key technical leader with deep RF expertise who can own product development and validation, work closely with engineering teams and ODM partners, optimize designs, and drive chipset and antenna selections to achieve best-in-class wireless connectivity.
