Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a CPA being preferred. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, revenue operations, or finance, particularly within the SaaS/software industry, is required. Strong technical and operational knowledge of ASC 606, including hands-on application in a SaaS environment, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex accounting issues for various stakeholders. They should also demonstrate an ability to identify process improvement opportunities, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy. Experience with ERP and financial systems such as Netsuite, Stripe, FloQast, Looker, SFDC, and revenue recognition software is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Manager will oversee the entire revenue lifecycle, including contract review, technical assessment, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement disclosures, ensuring ASC 606 and internal policy compliance. They will also drive the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, manage revenue-related audit requests, and ensure SOX-compliant controls. This role involves establishing and evolving revenue recognition policies and scalable procedures, preparing well-supported revenue memos aligned with U.S. GAAP, and collaborating on finance system implementations while driving automation and process improvements. Additionally, the Revenue Manager will partner with IT, Finance, Sales Operations, and Legal to develop scalable solutions that support business growth and compliance.
