Candidates should possess 1 to 3+ years of financial experience, a degree in Finance or Accounting, and preferably an MBA or CPA certification. They should also have 1 to 3+ years of revenue compliance and ASC 606 revenue recognition experience, along with experience in reviewing complex contracts and master agreements. Strong business knowledge and experience working in partnership with business teams are also required, alongside strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and analytical/problem-solving skills, and advanced Excel skills.
The Revenue Accountant will perform detailed reviews and analysis of Master Agreements and Contracts to ensure proper revenue recording and compliance with policy, lead discussions with various departments regarding contracts and revenue structures, participate in projects from inception to conclusion, provide assessment of issues and recommendations, and analyze products to support appropriate revenue recognition treatment. They will also contribute to projects, manage a large workload, and adapt to changing priorities while demonstrating strong process orientation and collaboration within a teaming environment.
