Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in retail workforce management, labor planning, or operations management
  • Strong expertise in WFM platforms such as Legion, Kronos/UKG, Reflexis, or similar
  • Proven experience developing and implementing labor standards in a retail environment
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting/analytics tools
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the WFM system to support scheduling, timekeeping, forecasting, and labor analytics
  • Partner with IT, HR, and store operations to ensure seamless system performance and integrations with payroll and POS systems
  • Lead WFM system upgrades, testing, and new feature implementations
  • Provide training and support to field and store leaders on effective system usage and reporting
  • Develop, document, and maintain labor standards using time-and-motion studies, productivity data, and industry benchmarks
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to validate labor standards for new and existing store processes
  • Build staffing models that align labor needs with forecasted business volume and service level goals
  • Conduct workload assessments and process improvement initiatives to optimize labor efficiency
  • Analyze labor performance, productivity, and compliance across all retail locations
  • Generate actionable insights through dashboards and reports to guide labor planning decisions
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to labor cost, schedule adherence, and forecast accuracy
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for labor planning and workforce management strategy
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Store Operations, and Merchandising to align labor strategy with business priorities
  • Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership to support long-term labor optimization initiatives
