Ability to use equipment such as hand-held scan guns, countertop scales, reach trucks, and pallet jacks

Responsibilities

Perform cashier duties: scan merchandise, weigh products, process checkout accurately, handle cart-to-cart transfers, inspect for tampering, act as receipt checker
Stock and replenish shelves: receive inventory, down stock freight using FIFO, rotate products, ensure proper labeling (blaster tagging, catch weight labels, PLU tags), maintain neat and orderly displays, report low stock
Assist customers on sales floor: help find products, promote services, increase sales, manage shrinkage
Work in departments including Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply as needed
Perform front end opening/closing functions
Participate in store events like Vendor Fairs, sales floor resets, inventory, and cycle counts
Assist with price changes and product quality audits
Maintain store safety and cleanliness per policies
Model US Foods Cultural Beliefs and CHEF’STORE Way training in all interactions
