Responsibilities

  • Perform cashier duties: scan merchandise, weigh products, process checkout accurately, handle cart-to-cart transfers, inspect for tampering, act as receipt checker
  • Stock and replenish shelves: receive inventory, down stock freight using FIFO, rotate products, ensure proper labeling (blaster tagging, catch weight labels, PLU tags), maintain neat and orderly displays, report low stock
  • Assist customers on sales floor: help find products, promote services, increase sales, manage shrinkage
  • Work in departments including Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply as needed
  • Perform front end opening/closing functions
  • Participate in store events like Vendor Fairs, sales floor resets, inventory, and cycle counts
  • Assist with price changes and product quality audits
  • Maintain store safety and cleanliness per policies
  • Model US Foods Cultural Beliefs and CHEF’STORE Way training in all interactions
