Skilled in operating reach trucks and pallet jacks for freight handling

Ability to work in various departments (e.g., Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply)
Completion of CHEF’STORE Way training to utilize tools and skills

Responsibilities

Ensure impeccable customer experience by developing relationships and assisting customers
Perform sales and cash functions efficiently, including scanning, weighing, and looking up products
Verify barcodes, report discrepancies, and perform cart-to-cart transfers with visual inspections for tampering
Act as receipt checker, verifying cart contents against purchases
Perform store opening and closing functions at the front end
Increase sales, manage shrinkage, and inform customers of available services
Receive inventory shipments, stock shelves neatly, rotate products (FIFO), and conduct quality audits
Report low stock levels, label merchandise (blaster tagging, catch weight labels, PLU tags)
Replenish sales floor by down-stocking freight from top stock
Ensure products are accessible, visually appealing, and available
Assist with price changes, special events (e.g., Vendor Fairs, resets), and inventory processes
Promote US FOODS® Cultural Beliefs: Deliver Excellence, Stop Waste, WIN Together, Speak Up, You Matter
