Candidates must possess an MS, MPH, or PharmD in health sciences or a related field, coupled with at least one year of experience in health service research, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a similar area. Experience in managed care, payer, or pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) sectors is highly preferred, as is post-graduate or post-doctoral training in health research. The role requires the ability to work in-office one day per week at specified Pulse Point locations in Wilmington, DE, Newton, MA, Atlanta, GA, or Durham, NC, or within commuting distance of an office.
The Researcher will conduct prospective and retrospective health economic and/or epidemiologic research activities under the guidance of a principal investigator and project manager. This includes supporting research activities for Health Outcomes, Epidemiology, or PPI projects by contributing to research designs, methodologies, analytical techniques, and reporting. The role involves collaborating with project managers and study teams to deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and other project milestones, and utilizing industry-standard health economic and/or epidemiologic analytical and statistical techniques.
