Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with at least 7 years of experience in research operations, programmatic risk management, and budgetary oversight. Strong leadership and management skills are required, including experience in staffing, hiring, performance reviews, and corrective action. Familiarity with funding agency requirements and federal policies and procedures is essential, as is the ability to develop and implement HR policies.

Responsibilities

The Research Operations Manager will actively drive execution of statements of work, ensuring proper alignment of personnel, supplies, and resources for project technical execution. They will form a deep understanding of funding agency processes and be accountable for completing tasks necessary to execute project scopes of work. This role involves collaborating with the R&D BD team to engage in strategic analysis, relationship development, and management with sites, researchers, and partners. Additionally, the manager will oversee the submission of funding proposals, manage staff, conduct counseling and performance reviews, and ensure compliance with Geneva Foundation and federal policies.
