Requirements

Candidates must have experience working autonomously in ambiguous environments and a proven track record in developing machine learning and computer vision models. Familiarity with state-of-the-art computer vision techniques, strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or Jax, and experience handling large-scale, multi-camera datasets are essential. Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills are also required, along with a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, computer vision, applied mathematics, or machine learning. A Master's or Ph.D. and experience deploying models in products or in a startup environment are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Research Engineer will contribute to the development of ML models for various 3D computer vision problems, working across the entire ML stack from research and experimentation to data handling, model evaluation, and infrastructure. They will also collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers to deploy models onto embedded devices, select promising approaches from literature, and create novel solutions to meet unique project goals.
