Candidates should possess strong expertise in AI, NLP, multi-modal models, LLMs, and generative AI, with an emphasis on applied research and system-building, and experience in developing, experimenting, and deploying AI models at scale. Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as NumPy, Scikit-learn, Pandas, PyTorch, and TensorFlow is required, along with familiarity with ML infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), and accelerators (GPUs, TPUs).
As a Research Engineer, you will design, implement, and validate novel AI techniques for data development, specifically synthetic data generation utilizing LLMs as a Judge, and prototype and build end-to-end workflows integrating research ideas into scalable systems. You will write high-quality, maintainable code, ensuring robust implementation of research-driven innovations, moving quickly to iterate on solutions in response to new challenges and customer needs, and collaborating with real-world design partners and other teams to push forward Snorkel AI’s research initiatives and rapidly productionize prototypes.
