Requirements

Associates degree preferred with 1+ years’ experience
Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting skills
Team player and capable of working well with minimal supervision while following safety procedures
Comfortable with Electronics and Electric circuits, diagrams, instruments and electrical safety
Able to stand during majority of shift, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally push/pull up to 10 pounds of force
Able to operate crane/hoist and pallet jack
Previous experience operating a forklift is an asset
Technologist, apprentices or ticketed tradespeople with solid interpersonal skills welcome

Responsibilities

Assemble complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material
Perform functional testing on assemblies
Test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria
Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards
Set, calibrate and maintain assembly tools
Perform torquing of various components
Distribute quality notifications
Read/interpret assembly blueprints
Follow written and verbal work instructions
Accurately use measuring instruments
Provide feedback about ease of assembly / fitment and ergonomics of new designs
