Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, finance, business, accounting) with strong academic performance (typically GPA of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale)

General finance knowledge, familiarity with financial concepts, and interest in learning more

Responsibilities

Build economic, financial, and operational models using Excel (e.g., valuation models, estimating cost of capital)
Conduct comprehensive qualitative research, including financial statements, market analysis, literature reviews, document examination, and writing memos to provide insights and support expert reports
Assist in preparing expert reports and presentations, helping experts present complex economic and financial concepts clearly in legal and regulatory contexts
Collaborate effectively with team members at all levels to develop robust and innovative solutions for clients
Work on typical assignments such as: creating valuation models for financial assets, intangible property, and securities; assessing accounting internal controls for manipulation, improper revenue recognition, fraud patterns; examining securities regulation for fraud and illegal behavior; evaluating bankruptcy and restructuring plans, financial disclosures, and creditor recoveries; analyzing databases for white collar fraud and money laundering investigations
