The expected base pay range is $79,600 to $149,200 per year, with actual pay varying based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k) participation, 15-25 days of vacation depending on tenure, up to 13 holidays, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave. Employees may also be eligible for a sign-on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units on a case-by-case basis.
The role requires living and working long-term in Palo Alto, California or New York, New York.
Candidates need over 5 years of professional experience reporting in finance, macroeconomics, or technology for reputable media; strong sourcing, interviewing, and writing skills with a well-established network in North American sectors; excellent English for in-depth interviews; and passion for journalism.
Priority is given to those with recognized industry influence and bylines, along with the ability to live and work long-term in Palo Alto or New York.
