Position Overview

Brafton, a leading content marketing firm with offices in Boston, London, and Sydney, is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist. This role is crucial for supporting high-volume campaign execution for Brafton’s clients, bringing marketing emails to life through visual layout, copywriting, platform setup, and performance optimization. The current focus is on a large-scale, image-driven B2C email campaign. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in marketing, communications, or digital design looking to deepen their expertise in email marketing within a collaborative remote team.

Preferred Time Zones: Applicants based in time zones between Eastern (ET) and Pacific (PT) are preferred.

Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is on execution and production support for email marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing and assembling email creative using client branding and templates.
  • Drafting and editing marketing copy to support campaign objectives.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
  • Supporting list segmentation, QA, and deployment within email platforms (where applicable).
  • Maintaining consistency across a large volume of deliverables.
  • Participating in regular check-ins and status updates.
  • Applying best practices in email layout, mobile optimization, and brand compliance.
  • Learning and applying new skills and tools to support evolving project needs.

This role will work closely with the Manager, Email Marketing, and other consulting team members.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, digital content, or design.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Canva, or other visual editing tools.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
  • Interest in learning more about email marketing platforms and best practices.

Bonus: Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Hubspot, Flodesk, Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud, etc.).

Skills & Experience

The Email Marketing Specialist should have experience or interest in:

  • Designing branded, mobile-friendly emails using Figma, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Writing and editing clear, engaging short-form copy for marketing audiences.
  • Collaborating with marketing strategists and other team members on campaign execution.
  • Learning and working within email platforms such as Klaviyo, Hubspot, and more.
  • Supporting the development of automations and segmentation.
  • Applying feedback and aligning deliverables to client brand guidelines and timelines.
  • Contributing to a positive and productive remote team culture.
