Deep knowledge of investment products, services, and vehicles utilized by insurance companies and healthcare institutions
Responsibilities
Oversee client servicing and business development functions within the Institutional Client Group, focusing on insurance companies and healthcare systems
Manage all activities within assigned client base and business development territory, including positioning with new prospects and cross-sell activities with existing Northern Trust clients
Serve as lead Relationship Manager and central point of contact for assigned clients, coordinating regular performance reviews with portfolio managers and strategists
Interface regularly with CIOs, senior investment staff, and day-to-day client contacts with a solutions-orientation
Identify appropriate targets for new business development, including institutional investors with no existing Northern Trust relationship and those using non-investment services
Meet an individual annual revenue goal to contribute to team targets
Apply expertise to align client/prospect needs with NTAM’s solutions across public equity, public fixed income, alternatives, and OCIO/multi-manager offerings
Contribute to thought leadership output and execution of marketing events (e.g., sponsorships, speaker/panelist roles) for insurance and healthcare investors
Coordinate ongoing relationships with third-party field consultants focused on insurance and healthcare investors, in partnership with the Consultant Relations Team
