Candidates must possess 5-10 years of regulatory compliance experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering. They should have expert knowledge in EMI/EMC, Safety, and Telecom standards/requirements for ITE/Telecom products, along with a proven track record managing global product certifications across development teams, test labs, suppliers, manufacturing, and OEM/ODM partners. Solid experience in acquiring global regulatory compliance approvals is required, as well as experience working with Safety Agencies (UL, CSA, TUV) and EMC Labs.
The Regulatory Compliance Engineer will lead project teams on product development projects to design reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality compliance solutions. They will collaborate with management and development partners, represent the electrical hardware team on global regulatory requirements, provide compliance support throughout the product lifecycle, and interface with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing product compliance. The role involves solving complex safety and EMC test issues, debugging, recommending resolutions, reviewing and validating test reports, preparing regulatory submittal filing packages, providing guidance on design reviews, and working with OEM/ODM partners to resolve regulatory issues.
