Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse license
  • Clinical experience
  • Direct experience/exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare preferred
  • Health education training experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Completion of assigned educational prerequisites
  • Proof of health screening documentation
  • Successful completion of consumer report (background check) and pre-employment drug screening
  • Computer and smart device proficiency (own personal laptop or desktop if needed)
  • Proficient in basic website and application troubleshooting using smart device
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 100 miles roundtrip (100% travel)
  • Maintain communications via cell phone, email, and internet access
  • Utilize secure encrypted email for customer PHI (for Holyoke, MA location)

Responsibilities

  • Remotely set up training appointments directly with the customer/caregiver
  • Travel to the customer's home setting within the general geographic location
  • Demonstrate and instruct the customer and/or caregiver on proper use and care of PT/INR equipment
  • Explain test reporting options
  • Communicate and present in a professional manner
  • Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically
  • Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health by cell phone, email, and internet access
  • Work with human blood or other potentially infectious materials
