Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Clinical experience preferred
  • Direct experience/exposure to anticoagulation management, homecare, or allied health beneficial
  • Health education training experience a plus
  • No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance
  • Computer and smart device proficiency
  • Proficient in basic website and application troubleshooting using a smart device
  • Completion of assigned educational prerequisites
  • Within 25 miles of hiring location
  • Proof of health screening documentation
  • Successful completion of a consumer report (background check) and pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized Face-to-Face® training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers
  • Demonstrate and instruct customers and/or caregivers on the proper use and care of PT/INR equipment
  • Explain test reporting options
  • Communicate and present oneself in a professional manner
  • Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically
  • Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health via cell phone, email, and internet access
  • Utilize secure encrypted email to communicate anything that includes customers PHI
  • Travel to customer homes within a general geographic location (minimum 100 miles roundtrip required)
  • Florida trainers only – additional background step required for the state of Florida
