Requirements

Registered Dietitian (new grads welcome)
Ability to provide nutritional services for in-center and home dialysis patients
Knowledge of diet and kidney disease
Ability to assess nutritional status, adequacy measures, fluid status, and nutrition-related lab parameters
Ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Commitment to quality enhancement, assessment, performance improvement, and process improvement activities
Adherence to FMCNA compliance program, regulatory requirements, and FMS policies
Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain effective relationships through communication

Responsibilities

Provide counseling and nutritional assessments to patients
Calculate prescription diets for patients
Assess patient knowledge of diet and kidney disease
Offer patient-specific information about nutritional status, adequacy measures and results, fluid status, and nutrition-related lab parameters
Maximize patient's nutritional status and improve clinical outcomes
Support FMCNA's mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy
Drive FMS culture through values and customer service standards
Deliver outstanding customer service to external and internal customers
Develop and maintain effective relationships through timely communication
Take initiative to respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues
Actively participate in QEP and QAI activities
Participate in process improvement activities to help patients achieve individualized goals
