Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience; military service/training may be considered in lieu of degree
4 years of related experience in a laboratory setting preferred; customer service experience preferred
GxP experience, IATA/DOT certification, and knowledge of OSHA General Industry requirements are a plus
Reside within a 50-mile radius of Greensboro, NC (ideal in Greensboro or RTP, NC area)
Ability to respond to assigned customer sites within one hour of notification
Strong verbal and written communication skills with desire to deliver excellent customer service; maintain professional appearance and demeanor
Computer proficiency with intermediate Microsoft Office skills; strong organizational skills to multitask and meet deadlines
Ability to understand complex work environments and work safely following all policies and procedures
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (regularly 30-40 lbs., up to 50 lbs. occasionally); push/pull up to 100 lbs. using equipment
Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual material handling (twisting, bending, reaching, lifting) for prolonged periods
Ability to work in environments with fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold, cold rooms, outside), chemical allergens, and wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, coveralls, hoods, facemasks, hairnets, steel-toe shoes, bump hats)
Ability to work overtime or independently as needed

Responsibilities

Travel to provide support at multiple customer facilities for scheduled and unscheduled coverage gaps (70-80% travel required, covering the region)
Inventory Management: stock rooms, point-of-use (POU) management, dispensing products
Order Management: order entry, order expediting, customer service support
Chemical Management: receive, register, and track chemical containers
Glass wash Operations: end-to-end glass wash sterilization processes, including inspection of glassware
Dock and Shipping Management
Drive Process Improvement culture
May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
