Responsibilities
Develops strategic relationships among existing large, complex and sophisticated healthcare system accounts to grow market share and earnings
Manages senior executive (C-Suite) relationships
Directly responsible for Revenue, Gross Margin, and Operating Earnings for the region, partnering with operations
Monitors sales and operational performance; works with category and product management to enhance programs
Participates in design of strategic plans to ensure sales and profit growth
Coaches, mentors, develops, and provides performance feedback to Enterprise Regional Directors, Business Development Directors, Technical Specialists, and Clinical Product Specialists
Monitors client satisfaction, operational performance metrics, and leads sales team to manage service levels; serves as escalation point for complex issues
Provides sales, product management, and operational expertise to enhance existing business and develop dynamic sales force design
Engages in hiring, assessing, developing, coaching, and mentoring the team
Conducts Strategic Business Reviews for the region and reports at quarterly corporate meetings; prepares sales expense budget and reports Revenues and Gross Margin
Develops client strategies, negotiates contracts, and markets/sells full spectrum of products and solutions
Provides overall leadership and direction to sales team; drives client service efforts; co-leads operational strategies
Acts as liaison to Home Office for input, exchange, and strategy; consults with Regional and Corporate Operations Leaders on total customer solutions
Leads engagement and alignment of internal and field resources for initiatives, implementation, and after-sale support
Develops total sales organization design to oversee strategies, goals, and measurements; ensures execution to individual sales representatives
Assists in corporate decision-making and direction-setting process
