6+ years of experience in a commercial/procurement role within an international context
Experience with complex supply chains and supplier negotiation in industrial or chemical sectors (strong plus)
Strong analytical and financial acumen with demonstrated data-driven decision-making
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Power BI and SAP (highly advantageous)
Solid knowledge in budgeting, costing, contract management, and category sourcing
Subject matter expertise in sourcing raw materials related to specialty and petrochemical industries

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business needs across EMEA
Lead commercial negotiations and contract development with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies
Optimize total cost of ownership and drive productivity improvements in the raw materials portfolio
Ensure products and process developments are based on secure, high-quality, and commercially viable sources
Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify market trends, cost drivers, and sourcing opportunities
Provide pricing forecasts, cost models, and insights to support strategic planning and stakeholder decision-making
Report raw material market intelligence and pricing updates to internal business teams
Draft and manage specifications and contract requirements for raw material suppliers
Collaborate closely with internal business functions, including Supply Chain, Product Development, and Commercial teams
Support development of an integrated European supply chain to enhance EHS, quality, and customer service
Manage a portfolio of procurement programs with a focus on risk management, synergy creation, and cost reduction
