Requirements

  • Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven strong field experience in technical roles within the healthcare or medical devices industry; IVD experience is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical processes and support multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies
  • Advanced English (spoken and written)
  • Advanced Brazilian Portuguese (spoken and written)
  • Spanish (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert for Leica products, providing technical and application support to customers, training, Field Service Engineers (FSE), Field Application Specialists (FAS) and/or Indirect Channels across LATAM
  • Manage knowledge base across the region for Services, by delivering service product training and workshops for internal teams, indirect channels and customers, ensuring proper usage and best practices
  • Escalate critical technical issues and troubleshooting services promptly and follow up on corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Monitor product performance in the field, collect feedback, and communicate improvement opportunities to global product teams
  • Support the launch of new products in LATAM, including training, marketing alignment, and technical validation
  • Participate in regional and global product meetings to share insights and best practices
  • Provide advanced technical guidance, training, and field support, while collaborating with commercial teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
